Africa-France economic conference: a digital technology platform

Scope

On 4 December, 2013 the French Ministry of Finance and Economy, in partnership with Medef International, organised an economic conference on the topic: “New partnership models between Africa and France.” This conference was held as part of the Elysée Palace Summit Meeting for Peace and Security in Africa.

 

 

Strategy

Hopscotch Africa optimised the conference’s international reach by developing and managing a digital platform, featuring:

• Live video broadcasts of the event
• Access to all conference-related information: documents, official press kits, photos, videos and interviews.

 

 

 

Results

Over 2,000 log-ins to the digital platform in 24 hours. The conference was, as a result, attended virtually  by an audience from France, Morocco, Tunisia, Ivory Coast and Cameroon as well the English-speaking world.
