The Annual Conference of the ASEA in Abidjan December 2013

Scope

The Abidjan Stock Exchange (BRVM) held the 17th annual conference of the African Securities Exchanges Association, in Abidjan in December, 2013 with the theme: “From Promises to Achievements, the Key Role of Capital Markets.”

Strategy

Hopscotch Africa designed, organised and promoted this event for target audiences:

• Producing the editorial and creative content
• Supporting public relations and media relations
• Identifying, monitoring and coaching participants
• Rolling out the logistics for the organisation and production of the event
• Identifying and managing sponsors

Results

Sponsored by fifteen institutional and private stakeholders, this four-day conference had a total of 400 participants in the Sofitel-Ivoire Hotel.

This event had influential partnerships with Jeune Afrique, Bloomberg TV Africa, Africa Investor, in addition to extensive media coverage across the African continent.
